For more than a decade Paul served as a photographer within the Royal Air Force providing photographic support for every aspect of RAF activity. During His career Paul was selected and trained in a specialist Press and Public Relations role as well as receiving Video and Video Production training at RAF Cosford’s Defence School Of Photography. He has extensive experience in photographing press events and VIP visits, including Royalty and Heads of State. Presentations and large group photography also feature among his many specialisations.

Since leaving the RAF he has been a photographer for the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew fulfilling many of the aforementioned roles for the Gardens, with particular focus on people oriented projects. In 2008 he was awarded Feature Photographer Of the Year for a project ALL IN A DAYS WORK following Kew’s Arboretum Team. In 2012 he followed Kew’s botanist Aaron Davies on expedition to the coffee growing districts of Ethiopia. The footage he brought back featured in Kew’s Wildescreen Panda award-winning short THE FORGOTTEN HOME OF COFFEE.
